I started painting in 1997. In 1998 I entered the Competiton for The Society of Amateur Artists and won the award of 'Best Beginner' in the Category of Still Life, Flowers and Gardens with 'My Habitat' oil painting.  Since then I have exhibited in The Peoples Art in Dublin, The Store House Restaurant in Naas.  I was also a member of the Naas Art Group (we exhibited our work each year), until I moved to Edenderry.
